CUSTOMER STATES, WE JUST HAD THE VEHICLE HERE FOR THE SAME ISSUE WHERE THE VEHICLE WON'T START IS BLOWING THE J-CASE FUSE FOR THE STARTER. PLEASE CHECK AND ADVISE. TECHNICIAN NOTES, WE HOOKED UP A CIRCUIT BREAKER TO THE FUSE LOCATION AND FOUND IT TO IMMEDIATELY TRIP. WE DISCONNECTED THE STARTER AND FOUND THE ISSUE TO CONTINUE AS FAR AS IT CONTINUOUSLY BLOWING THE CIRCUIT BREAKER. WE THEN INSPECTED THE WIRING AND FOUND THE WIRE GOING FROM THE STARTER RELAY TO THE STARTER TO BE PARTIALLY MELTED AND RUBBING ON A PIECE OF METAL UNDER THE TRUCK AND SHORTING OUT. TECHNICIAN RECOMMENDS REPLACING THE SECTION OF WIRE THAT WAS SHORTED AND CONTINUE RECHECKING FOR OTHER POSSIBLE ISSUES. AFTER REPLACING THE WIRE, WE FOUND NO FURTHER ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE STARTING.
