CUSTOMER STATES, THE VEHICLE OVERHEATS WHILE DRIVING. PLEASE CHECK AND ADVISE. TECHNICIAN CHECKED AND FOUND CODE FOR FAN CLUTCH CIRCUIT FAULT. TECHNICIAN STARTED TRUCK AND MONITORED TEMPERATURE AS IT BEGAN TO WARM UP. TECHNICIAN NOTED THE TEMP KEPT CLIMBING INTO THE 200'S AND THE FAN DID NOT TURN ON. TECHNICIAN TURNED THE ENGINE OFF AT 230 DEGREES AND THE FAN HAD STILL NOT TURNED ON. TECHNICIAN VERIFIED SIGNALS TO THE FAN AND NOTED THEM TO BE CORRECT. TECHNICIAN RECOMMENDS REPLACE THE FAN CLUTCH AND RE CHECK THE SYSTEM. UPON DIS ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN NOTED THE FAN CLUTCH PULLEY HUB TO BE DAMAGED AND THE FAN CLUTCH HAD TO BE HAMMERED OFF THE ENTIRE WAY. TECHNICIAN ATTEMPTED TO CLEAN UP THE THREADS WITHOUT SUCCESS. A NEW HUB AND PULLEY ASSEMBLY WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED IN ORDER TO COMPLETE REPAIRS.
