CUSTOMER STATES, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. PLEASE CHECK AND ADVISE. TECHNICIAN NOTES, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CODE IS P2033 FOR EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR 2 CIRCUIT HIGH VOLTAGE. TECHNICIAN NOTES, WE MONITORED THE SENSOR WHILE DRIVING AND FOUND ONCE IT WAS AT OPPERATING TEMPERATURE THE #2 SENSOR WOULD READ NORMAL, BUT SPIKE UP TO 1800 DEGREES RANDOMLY. TECHNICIAN RECOMMENDS REPLACING THE SENSOR AND RECHECKING FOR OTHER POSSIBLE ISSUES. AFTER REPLACING THE SENSOR AND TEST DRIVING THE VEHICLE, THE SENSOR IS NOW READING NORMAL AND THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE A REGEN ON THE DPF.
