Job #133903 for
(Tom Mullins)
2003 GMC SIERRA 3500
Invoice #24190
Technician:
None
Concern:
CUSTOMER STATES, THE TRANSMISSION IS GOING INTO LIMP MODE WE HAVE PREVIOUSLY BUILT THE TRANSMISSION ABOUT 4500 MILES AGO. PLEASE CHECK AND ADVISE. TECHNICIAN NOTES, THE INPUT SPEED SENSOR WAS HANGING DOWN. IT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING MAY HAVE FLIPPED UP AND HIT IT AND BROKE THE LOCKING TAB. THE WIRING WAS COVERED WITH MUD AND MAY HAVE WEIGHED IT DOWN TO THE POINT IT CAME UNPLUGGED. THE PERMANENT FIX WOULD BE TO REPLACE THE PIGTAIL, BUT WE CAN ZIP TIE THE CONNECTOR IN PLACE IF THE CUSTOMER WOULD PREFER THAT.
